Disgusting, an absolute bomb!

This game is horrible in every aspect. Graphics hardly rival PS1 titles and fall miles short of today's standard. Courses look like they're in CGA and golfer swing animations look like the chicken dance. Audio is nearly as poor with corny nature sounds and robot-like, inaccurate play by play by featuring Ian Baker-Finch and Sam Torrance (woo, hoo).

The new concept of the view over the ball (address) and swinging right to left instead of the Tiger Woods style up and down is a good idea but very hard to use. This is probably the best facet of the game, sadly enough.

Gameplay is grotesque as full-bore drivers carry about 190 yards and roll out to 260. Irons carry about half their distance and roll out the rest strangely enough. I felt like I was playing as my grandfather. Gameplay is very unrealistic and lightyears behind the realistic carry, bounce and roll of Tiger Woods '06 or even Hot Shots Golf Fore!.

All-in-all, this game is terrible. Paying $29.99 for this mess is a complete sham and the software company should be sued for false advertisement as this is not a golf game. PGA Tour '97 for PS1 would be far more fun to play.

Don't buy, don't rent... Forget this game was ever released. Buy a rubix cube or a bag of jacks and you'll save $25 and have way more fun.
