so i first rented prototype and started playing for the first hour i just ran trough the city mercilessly killing pedestrians then i stated to do missions and dug into the story the game follows the story of Alex Mercer who wakes up on a morgue slab in the basement of GENTEK, a large and influential genetic engineering company. After an encounter with several armed soldiers, Alex escapes and sets out to recover his memory and find out exactly what occurred. He soon discovers he now possesses powerful shape shifting abilities that grant him superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability, weaponry and the ability to "consume" people to gain their memories, skills and appearance. With no memory of his previous life, Alex is forced to track down and consume those related to the conspiracy in order to uncover the truth.So as you get further and further into the story you start getting little pieces of the story here and there but its up to you to piece it together.the skills you get can all be upgraded to be made stronger and such.But when you beat the game theres not much to do.Playing it again loses its fell because you know the story.So i would say try it and see how you feel
