Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.. and then some....

Prototype is by far an excellent third person game. In my opinion it leaves infamous biting the dust. All that this game lacks is graphics, but what it lacks in graphics it makes up for with game play. The controls are very user friendly. The movement is so much easier than infamous. Remember how easy it used to be to get spiderman to move up walls and jump around in the spider man movie games. Yeah well this makes that seem strenuous. All you have to do is press r2 and you run, you just run. Neither rain nor sleet nor snow, nor cars or tanks or even buildings can stop you.(well unless you get hit) The weapon selection is killer. Claws, a whip arm, hammerfists(giant sledge hammer hands) muscle increase, a giant blade.... good fun to go killing with. Also added are a shield, sensory vision which allows you to "see" your enemies (their all yellow).
The story line is immersing, the web of intrigue adds a very ,well, intriguing factor to the game. The story is the main reason this game scores higher than infamous for me. The way it develops out and little pieces add themselves in here and there is ingenious. Prototype also has an excellent ai system. As you progress the game progresses. The bad guys slowly upgrade themselves to deal with you through the game. You can hijack tanks and helicopters. Ha! now thats madness. Practically everything from attacks to movement is upgradeable, which makes its more fun seeing that you can add so much to your arsenal.
My opinion is if you havnt played it you should. The games easy to get used to, addictive to play, intense story line, and incredible gameplay. overall i give it a 9. Because if it was just a little better graphically, it would be legend-wait for it- DARY!!!!!
