Prototype, yes that's a videogame that you can be anyone you want, do anything you can imagine.
But mostly it reminds me of Spiderman: Web Of Shadows..why?
1. Activision
2. New York City (WHY always has to be NYC?? I can give you 100 cities to destroy!!) being in quarantine by a deadly symbiotic like virus. (guys that's just exactly the same...)
3. Fighting both infected and military forces (or other in S:WOS)
4. Spiderman like Alex Mercer has the option to be a Hero or an Anti-hero (you know, throwing civilians off rooftops isn't the hero-thing)
Ok.
Although I love this game because it combines all my favourite games in one and adds also extra things, which makes it my Game Of THe Year!
You can be Spiderman, Venom, Altair, Rico Rodriquez (from Just Cause), even Sam Fisher in some ways when you can neutralize a whole Military Base without even getting noticed...actually anyone you want.
Also you can "consume" any civilian or military person walking in the streets of NY and play with your new "form".
The unlimited power, movement ,combat and other upgrades make you want to play one more hour or complete one more event just to unlock one or two more powers.
This upgrade menu, the amazing parkour around the Manhattan, and the really interesting story makes this game addictive, you can never get bored because everything in the city is alive, your hero is alive, changing powers and shapes so that you can never say "Oh, I'm getting tired of that..or..I'm getting tired of this..."
The only thing that I'm disappointed is that there is only one specific scene for hijacking the helicopters or the tanks, although hijacking helicopters is one of the best moments in the videogame!!!
Buy and Play Prototype because it's a game that other videogame companies should use as a "prototype" for their future videogames
