Bought it, loved it then took it back!
Pros:
- Many various moves to collect such as; whipping people or cars and have them coming out as a special move all over the place, claws, powerful kun fu moves, cosume people, ask military to attack people and so much more and a blade which is awesome.
- Smooth gameplay. I mean when you jump or run there is no stopping, you will dodge anything and hit everything in your way. really fast and effective and means no stopping.
- Lots of people to kill and there bodys get chopped in half, heads fall off and legs ect. amazing fun to be had specially when you do a big attack and you just seeing bodies, cars, limbs flying every where.
- Storyline is ok, just a load of people get infected and your trying to find out why you are a freak with amazing powers.
- Good controls and camera. Didn't have a problem with them. Also when you change your style of attack it slows down the screen for you to do that which is really cool.
- Consuming people and taking there talents is really cool, for example i just walked into a military base after i had consumed a man from the military and then just killed the whole base by consuming everyone and they didn't suspect a thing.
Cons:
- Graphics could be better and the world feels a bit bare with sort of the same things everywhere.
- Gets repetitive and boring once you have everything and storyline gets tedious and in the end you just wanna free roam and not even finish it.
- No coop or multiplayer which is a real shame cos i think that would just be extreme.
- Quite a small map. I mean where your so fast and you can fly and warp, you can get to one side to the other in a couple of mins.
- Sometimes when you do an attack in doesn't always go where you want which is fair enough but on occasions it goes completey the oppisite direction.
- Some of the challenges are quite impossible and you would really need to do them 100% perfectly like almost master them.
- Text is quite hard to see on numerous occasions.
Overall i i thought this game was crazy and i loved it but then half way through the game after i had done a lot of killing, missions, challenges i just didn't feel inclined to play it anymore. In the end once you have all the combos, moves ect there is not much oulse but to collect orbs, kill people and just have fun but that even gets tedious quickly.
I give this game 8/10 due to the fact you probably won'tplay it after you have completed it and it gets boring. Its a must rent though and if you could cop this up between £20 - £30 it's well worth it. I took mine back because i just didn't see myself playing it again.
