Fun game, just missing a few pieces to put it over the top

Concept: Guy gets infected with a super-virus, giving him crazy powers. Virus also gets set loose on Manhattan. Military gets called in. Kill everything in your path to finding out what happened.

Graphics: Manhattan is very faithfully replicated. I feel like I can make my way around there now after playing ths game. Attacks and executions are done with a lot of flourish and gore. Character models are well done. No variety in the interior environments or the weather. No day/night cycle either.

Sound: I liked the voice acting. Sometimes hard to follow, but you can turn on subtitles if necessary. In-game music was forgettable.

Playability: Camera/targeting can be a royal pain. Especially in tanks where you have to swing your turret back and forth. Side missions have initial variety but become repetitive quick due to their sheer number and duplicate goals. Getting around town is easy and fun.

Entertainment: Game starts off very promising, but by the later half it grows very frustrating due to the repetitive side missions, the crazy sensitive military who will detect and hunt you down almost instantly (especially a pain when you are trying to traverse from side mission to side mission). Boss fights are a mixed bag, but most take way too long.

Replay Value: Features a new game + mode, and you can free roam after the main story is done to collect all the orbs and finish all the side mission gold times, but as stated the difficulty ramps up in the last dozen or so missions to crazy levels, making this more of a nuisance than a desired goal.
