Wii Sports Boxing... now as a full fledged game!

Punch-Out!! is more or less a remake of a classic Nintendo game that came out over 20 years ago for the NES. I was too young then, but all I can say is that I'm having lots of fun playing the remake. You are Little Mac, a trainee who is trying to work his way up the ranks to become World Champ. You fight a variety of boxers along the way, each with his own unique attacks. After becoming world's best, you have to challenge your opponents again in a defense campaign that can get extremely challenging. Punching can be done using the motion controls: Wii Remote for right punches, and the nunchuck for left ones. Dodging, ducking, and blocking is done by pushing the control stick in a direction as the opponent comes in for an attack. Most attacks cannot be blocked, and certain attacks can only be dodged a certain way, making split second decisions important. The game features a robust single player career campaign as well as exhibition, where you can challenge your opponents at any time. Mulitplayer is fairly limited, only for two players, and without any online. If you enjoyed the over-the-top violence of Mario Strikers Charged, you'll feel right at home with Next Level Games' version of Punch-Out!!
