"Overall, Puppet War FPS is a hit-and-miss game that can give you very mixed reactions."
Puppet War FPS is a game developed by Twindigo released in 2010 exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It focuses on puppets from a friendly kid's show gone bad... and you have to kill them. There's not much to it but it is what it is. The game has two modes: Campaign and Survival. Campaign pits you in multiple different levels of fighting puppets. As you progress, new types of puppets appear and you can purchase more weapons. Puppets go from a standard muppet-style puppet to zombies and ninjas. With weapons, you can chose one firearm and one melee weapon for your loadout from over fifteen. Graphics are on par with most other 3D iPhone games. However, I run into frequent framerate issues. This might be because I run it on my iPhone 3G as opposed to a iPhone 4, but whenever a larger amount of puppets are on the screen the framerate tends to drop almost unbearably low. Back on terms of gameplay, it can tend to get repetitive. Unlocking new guns can tend to freshen it, however. Even though I have not unlocked everything yet, an imagine that there's very little point in playing when you have acquired every weapon. Survival seems to be a drag, but fun if you're in the right mood. Overall, Puppet War FPS is a hit-and-miss game that can give you very mixed reactions. But if you're looking for a funny shooting app for your iPhone, look no further.
