Never Heard of pursuit force until now, What a great game!!!!
THE GOOD
This game has a few diffrent gameplay modes that it mixes up and puts into the story line. The thing is these different forms of gameplay really work. You have the car combat, foot missions, a kind of platforming, and missions like sniper and turret shooters. The game is just fun, it has a justice meter that fills up with kills and other sorts of justice, This meter is used for special moves and stronger health or even replenishing your health. The gameplay is actually pretty simple, but its still just fun, Most games on the psp now try and duplicate results from the ps2, whle this game takes into consideration what it is working with! The game has a decent amount of gameplay with a lot of replay value as well, there are unlockable pictures that you can save to your psp's memory card for background as well.
THE BAD
There is a story mode, challenge mode, and a bounty mode. The problem with this is, story mode is the exact same thing as bounty mode, it's just that you play for points to get stars to get the pictures and other unlockables as mentioned above. It's like you have to play the whole story twice. Next off the challenge mode; Which are original missions that amount to nothing, they unlock nothing, they are just there. So that kind of sucks. It would have been nice if it was the opposite way around. The sniper missions started to get ridiculously hard at the end, and I was on easy difficulty, The Helicopter your in sways so much its near impossible to get a shot off in time. I also had to figure out certain things in the game on my own, because the game never tells you how to do certain things until way later in the game on a loading screen.
OVER-ALL
It's still a pretty good game, that I enjoyed, it was something new, which was nice, and it's something thats not to hard to get used to (for some). this game is definitly worth checking out!
