Pure monotony, just one way of describing Puzzle Quest 2.

I really enjoy puzzle games, offering me a few minutes of play here and there, especially where I find myself not doing anything with abit of time to kill. The only other games I have on the DS are mostly RPGs requiring alot more time and commitment which I don't always have.

This is where Puzzle Quest comes in, combining both puzzle and RPG genre together, and to be honest rather successfully. Like it's predecessors, Puzzle Quest 2 is full of quests, equipment, monsters and mini-games that will keep you pretty much addicted for the first few hours of gameplay.

After that you will start to find everything becoming monotonous; same old quests, same old equipment, same old monsters, same old mini-games. It's strange how addictive this game is, for even after this time you still carry on playing, waiting for something different to happen. To my disappointment, not alot.

Don't get me wrong, this game is awesome in it's own right, redefining a genre mixed with both RPG and puzzle type content. But if your anything like me, where the same puzzles keep on cropping up again and again and again, boring the pants off you to the point you can't even be bothered saving it, then I recommend just renting or borrowing.
