For the first time in years I feel like I've played a new genre of game: it's the brand-spanking new RPG Puzzler. This game combines the puzzle game Bejeweled with the fun of discovering a story while leveling up your character. The Bejewelled game by itself is a mediocre puzzle game, but Puzzle Quest makes the action compelling by adding a complex and enjoyable spell system to the grid.
After playing this game for some time I honestly became afraid I was becoming obsessive compulsive because I could NOT put this game down. I didn't expect to like this game as much as I did, and now I can't wait for the next installment. I highly recommend this game for its unique style and just plain fun gameplay.
