Fun and unique game,Qix is great!

Qix is,well,its,uhh,just plain awesome!The design for the game only holds few shapes,and a lot of lines and such.Its not the most detailed Gameboy title in the world,but it doesn't have to be.

There's no music,so its a little similar to old Atari games,the few sound effects are very good,and never get annoying.

My favorite part,the game play.Qix is a very different puzzle game,then say Tetris,it has a totally different concept for play.You play as a small polygon shape,and your job is to trap this buzzing,zig-zagging monster in a square of sorts.Though the trick though,is that if the monster touches any line your currently making,you lose a life,until the fatal GAME OVER screen pops up.The game sounds weird,I know,its just a very weird game.But it is fun,it gets really challenging in the later levels,and is full of replay value.

Final Verdict:Qix is,in a sense,the most unique game I've played the Gameboy.Its fun,challenging,and just great.
