Quake 3 is an excellent game even compared to some modern games. The arena, fast-pace game play is quite enjoyable. A lot of fps games go for realism now, but it is refreshing to play a far-out imaginative game such as Quake 3. It might just be my copy of the game, but I am unable to program the mouse-wheel to do anything. It is minor and it no longer bothers me though. Although it is an excellent game, It's main rival- Unreal Tournament- has more options and just feels more solid. This game makes me want to have been a PC gamer back in the late '90s. There were so many great games back then, Half-Life, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, etc.
