This is one amazing first person shooter!! Especially for it's time..

This is definately the first ever first person shooter that I actually ever liked playing on, I loved to just play my brother and friends on LAN games on the other computers around my house, this was great fun, and I just loved everything about the game.

To me even though there wasn't really a decent storyline to the game, it still rocked! I played this game years ago and one day I thought,

"Hey! I wanna play Quake!"

..so I went out and attempted to buy it, not knowing it's an 18....grrr....

But anyways, I got the game eventually, my own way :) And I'll probably still play it in-future when I come to a stage where I need Quake :D

Quake 4 I've never played, although some friends have told me it's not as good as it's cracked up to be, but nevertheless I'm still eager to play this game too, so someday I'll try that one.

Back to Quake, the weapons. A great selection, the developers really did choose the weapon set well, Rockets, Rail-gun (like Sniper), Grenades, Machine guns, GAUNTLET! Ahhh, I just loved the weapons too!

Anywhoo I'm going on, but believe me, if you like FPSs or even if you're not too keen on them, just try playing this game, it rocks!!! :D
