Awesome for it's time

This game was much like one of the first King's Quest games. It even came on a five and a quarter floppy disk- more than 1 of 'em ! Sometimes, it was packaged as Hero's Quest. I'm unsure why the game goes by different names. I enjoyed playing it. The graphics were top notch for it's genre and time. The sound was well above average. It had sounds other than beeps. It's close up combat system was also cool for it's time. Stab, dodge, counter stab. You could be a fighter, theif or magic user. The theives guild was pretty cool. You could steal crap and then basicly pawn it. So it's alot of go here and there, pick up this and that then run away from that thing and listen to a character : harass you, be a smartass or just an idiot. Sounds kind of dumb compared to today's standards but it was very very cool for a PC game of it's day. i would also like to point out the cover on the game looked not at all like the actual game - a practice still in use from the Atari days.
