Quite a bit of fun, and worth playing. Just hated the main character.

This game was certainly worth going through! If you're patient enough I'd even recommend going through the last 20 hours twice since you can choose between two COMPLETELY different endings, one of which I found to be significantly better than the other. I did enjoy having to gather up so many people and get them to be willing to join you on your quest, however, if you like your sanity and want to keep it all as simple as possible, GET the Guide. Since the NPC's actually move around on a very specific schedule...it becomes almost imperitive that you own one. Still, the fact that the main character, Jack Russel, starts out an impertinent, annoying, little brat and stays an impertinent, annoying, little brat throughout the WHOLE story does not help at all. You'd think he'd mature given the events that are happening all around him? Nope. Not in the slightest. Ahh well, that's certainly the biggest fault with the game, and that's not much at all considering how damn fun the rest of it is. ^^
