Interesting if not cliched characters, a uniquely setup world, and overall just a joy to own and play. Enough said.

Who said that you need to save humanity from utter destruction in a RPG game? Well, for those of you who are used to that sort of thing, this is one giant kick in the pants for you. During the course of this game you will have the choose to be of the "bad guys" and the "good guys" in a struggle of world dominance and or natural order.

Game play: For those of you who have played Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, consider this game it's younger brother in terms of the battle system. With it's entertaining command system, combo system, and attack setups there is always a way that you can customize the battle to fit your own cravings and needs. The world is visually beautiful to the naked eye, but simple in craftsmanship, as most of the environment is in the background and is not interacted with at all. Still, it gives you a unique feeling like you are playing a new genre of rpg games even though it really offers nothing new other than the obvious. The Day-Night cycle adds a lot of depth to the game with how the artificial intelligence acts during each part of the day, and the ability to change your looks with new armor is a welcomed addition that many console rpgs seem to neglect.

Graphics: The graphics are visually beautiful, but really simple at the same time. I personally enjoyed the way the Human town was set up and the way it looked; it fitted really nicely with the game. Battle Graphics were fairly good and the up close and personal talk system where their faces are shown shows you how detailed some of the characters could get.

Sound: The sound was rather nice in this game with decent and abundant character voices from each of the many characters, attack sounds, environment sounds, and just about everything in the game. The music was rather fitting as well, which is a must for any rpg game to have in addition to a great story and character development..

Story: The tales in Radiata Stories were varies depending on decisions that you made, and the people you had assembled. The game length itself was rather short to me, but that is because you really only finish part of the game your first time through, as you can go a different route next time around. Overall, it was an acceptable story altogether, and really kept you interested throughout the game and eager to play through the next campaign that you didn't initial pick the first time.

Radiata Story is a welcomed addition to one of my RPG bookshelves, and was incredibly addictive and fun to play through a few times. Any who enjoy a good RPG should give to help you wait for whatever game you are eagerly awaiting next.
