If I hadn't of played this game, I'd never of been interested in racing games.
In this racing game, you play through three different routes to earn points (or money) so you can upgrade your car/s and upgrade to new levels. There are five levels or "classes" with a total of four different routes you can take with your 3D state of the art pixelated motors. Lovely.
I have grown up with Rage Racer because it is simply one of those games that you will always remember and you will always have fun with. There isn't much of a storyline but that isn't necessary, the narration from Reiko Nagase means playing through anything or everything in this sequel exceptionally sexy and memorable. You will find yourself revisiting this gem and hearing the unforgettably catchy music and the corny dialogue again and again. I wouldn't describe this as a guilty pleasure but it is undoubtedly a pleasure.
