Very entertaining and different than most games out there, fell short of expectations however.

Well I played through the game, did quite a few side missions and races and things like that, took me right around 11 and a half hours to finish, and I must say I was expecting a much longer game than that. I won't spoil the end but I was also disappointed in that as well, not really much to it.

The details and graphics of the game were done really well. Some of it reminds me of borderlands however not as cartoonized as that game was. The facial structure of the people is really well done, some of the loading of details of the buildings and small objects is very noticeable and slow however but doesn't affect the actually gameplay.

The sound for it was done very well, I have it running through surround sound and sometimes when water was dripping I thought it was raining outside. The guns have their own distinct sounds. Explosions were done very well visually and auditory.

The gameplay itself was very fun, and it was nice how they have different ammo types for every weapon just about. I would have liked to see more different more interesting weapons however. A couple machine guns had the same two ammo types, and they weren't all that spectacular. I'd say the best weapons to play around with is the crossbow, and the bladed boomerang thing. The weapon that worked best for me throughout the game would have to be the combat shotgun I would say, just because of all the ammo types. The pulse shot which worked great against the authority, especially when popping them in the head. I was expecting there to be plenty more upgrades and such for the gizmos and gadgets you get, however the only one that was able to upgrade once was the RC car bomb. I don't know if I missed missions where you get more upgrades or they just don't have any i'm not really sure. I will more than likely go through the game again however anyways.

//POSSIBLE SPOILER//

One thing that I did notice however was there weren't as many bigger boss battles through the game as I thought there would be. I remember the one really huge cyclops guy, other than that there were like 3 other smaller type ones, I just figured there would be plenty more. And one more thing is during the last mission right before you go they give you an authority BFG, which is like a minigun, I figured the reasoning they gave you that was for some final boss guy mainly or something, so I figured I would save all the ammo I collected for whatever was at the end, and come to find out you don't even have a final boss of any kind, however just some hybrid authority creatures that you encounter throughout the whole last mission, so that to me was a disappointment.

This Game was overall a very fun and entertaining game, I just feel like it didn't live up to the expectations I had for it is all.
