Rage is a fun game, there's nothing "boring" about it. The game is exciting and action packed. It can get repetitive from time to time and some scenery might look recycled. However the game's artistic concept has a really nice atmosphere to it on the basis of it taking place in a "apocalyptic" earth that got destroyed by a meteor (the most I'll spoil about this game). You start off as a protagonist, and move up the ranks, and eventually you start fighting the good fight. The game has a good selection of weapons, but you would wish that there was a much larger selection of weapons. Another thing you would wish the game had was more customization options on weapons. Some weapons have upgrades you can purchase, many have different types of ammo you can create/buy. You can also build some helpful items like Sentry bots that follow you around and engage targets by itself to just simply Sentry guns to watch your back. You can customize your vehicle by wining races, killing other opposing vehicles while driving around the wastelands, and turning in those kills to the appointed person for money and vehicle customization currency. You will feel the heat of battle as well when you confront some of the opposing factions, especially the main faction you're fighting against called Authority. You'll be amazed at the AI as well, although it is not perfect. You'll see that each faction fights differently. Some fight as teams, some fight as partners, others just fight like hordes of pissed off people that is basically a rush and bash mob. Some try to flank you while others try to advance towards you by taking cover behind their partners shield. Others can literally parkour/freerun you in such a fluent way that you'll be blown away. The game can get frustrating however. Dive from point A to B and back to A, and hardly any point C. Progression of the game is fast, and it's hardly explorable (since it's not as vast as it should have been). All in all I have invested about 12 hrs to this game and I beat it on normal, that's playing on and off for the past week. The graphics of the game is good, however you will notice that sometimes it takes time to load, not because of the depth of detail but because Bethesda & Id decided to make it a 60 FPS game (like CoD, sometimes you'll notice the details loading time might take a bit to get in focus). This game is NOT Borderlands in anyways, from how it looks to how it plays. It's a fast paced shooter like Counter Strike per-say but not in game play mind you :).

I recommend all to play this game, but not to own for now. Try to borrow or rent, and try it out. I believe this game will get better in due time, if add-on content goes through.
