Game play 10/10

As a fan of RPGS I like this game. There are four characters to choose from plus one unlockable. Each character has their own story and plays through their own combination of stages. The controls are quick and swift, so they get the job done. Each stage is set up into sections, each section you go through killing villains to move on to the next section. At the end of the level there is a boss. Once the boss is defeated you get a letter rank. These letter ranks are decided by the time taken in each stage and the number of points you have earned.

Graphics 7/10

Not exactly perfect graphics but they are playable. Characters are not at all murky and the attacks look great. These graphics are quite different from most games. They are not cartoon like but they aren't realistic. So they are about the average PS2 standard.

Features 8/10

There are some nice things on this game. You can team up with a friend whilst in normal game play and go through each stage quicker. Alternatively there is a battle mode to go head to head against someone else. In the battle mode there are more characters to choose from rather than the basic five on story mode.
Duel mode can also be played with up to four characters.

Lifespan 8/10

It will last you around a week, no more though. When you've finished this game once you won't particularly want to play it again. The reason being is there is nothing much different you can do the next time round. If you have some friends round you can play a few matches but that's about it.

Sound 9/10

The stages have there own tune and the tunes go well with the gaming. The sounds of weapons in use are so realistic. The blow aren't the best and when anyone is hurt in the game it doesn’t really sound that good. As you switch stages there is a high pitched noise which flows with the story telling.

Overall 9/10

Not the best of all RPGs, but it is extremely good. This game is good for young teenagers. But children will enjoy this too. So I'd recommend it to 10 and over.
I'm 13 and I enjoy it.
