I must start by saying that normally I don't like or even play driving games. One of the guys at EB Games recommended a used copy, and I am so happy that he did. The graphics are great, the gameplay is awesome, and it has XBox Live. What more could you ask for? The graphics are absolutely wonderful. They scenery is so realistic it's scary. I want to play at times just because of the scenery. From the deserts to the British countryside complete with fog, it is unbelievable. The way that the dirt, and or ice start caking to your car is so perfect. Realism at its best. The game plays very, very well. The controls are relatively easy to learn for an adult (the kids had more diffuculty) and allowed for some serious racing. The offroad slipping and sliding was scary at times because it felt so real. Thank goodness that it has XBox Live. This adds a tremedous amount to the already 9+ game. It takes it beyond what I thought was possible. There were only a few "problems" I had with this game. First, and I must admit that this is probably my fault, but the ice racing sucks. Rather I suck at ice racing. It is not easy, and it almost seems out of place with the rest of the game. This is not a problem, because you don't really have to do too much of it if you don't want to. Only 2 racing games have ever been playable for me, let alone in a favourite game category; Rallisport Challenge 2, and Burnout 3.
