Any one up for playing the same level over a hundred times, because I sure am.......

User Rating: 5 | Rampage World Tour N64
World Tour seemed like it was going to be a very worthy title, having played the original Rampage back on the NES. Your basically given the task to control one of three monsters (and with 2 other friends even) to help demolish as many cities around the world as you can.

At first, Rampage World Tour will provide a few good laughs, with the huge amount of destruction you can dish out among the cities. You can even climb up the sides of buildings and bash in the windows to find people to eat, food, or even things that will make your monster puke, like toilets. There's no question to how much disastrous acts you can perform on the cities, and it's even more fun with your friends. The only down part is that in reality, you're just playing the same levels over and over again, just with different buildings of different heights. With that said, it's really rare that some one will want to venture through over a hundred levels that the game has in it. The last levels just seemed really stupid and out of place; let’s go destroy space stations on the moon every body! I mean come on, that's just ridiculous, it's not like any of the levels will give you a challenge anyways, your really just destroying the levels to get high scores by trashing as much of the cities as possible.

The presentation overall of Rampage World Tour doesn't look too bad with it's building demolishing effects, and an assortment of explosions. The sound also provides quite a punch when you hear the booms and metal twisting sounds of skyscrapers collapsing around you. Even with a fairly decent presentation, Rampage still can't pull itself out of it's own hole, and still falls flat when the game has you experiencing the same things level after level.

After it's all said and done,Rampage is better left on the NES; the N64 really needed something else to do with its power other than port an old game with flashier 2d graphics.
