A brilliant intense sequel, best in series!
The gameplay is simply brilliant, with some intense shoot-outs between enemies. The guns are awesome! There are so many unique designs, but different in there own way, that it varies the combat. Each gun can upgrade and level up five times, which makes alot of the guns feel relatively new everytime you've upgraded them, with something new to offer.
The locations are spectacular. Level design is amazing, with every location looking stunning and will keep you amazed as you venture around them. This also helps with graphical quality, which really makes locations look that much better.
The story is good but can at some points be a bit confusing when the plot drifts away from one point and then to another, but it is still good. The story also gets more in depth about the characters and how it could change.
The sound effects are superb. You can really get the feel as if you're in a battle, or just in one of the many unique locations featured in the game. Voice-acting is brilliant, and much further progresses the story, and makes you like the game more. The return of Dr Nefarious is also an added bonus, as he is a terrific enemy along sides his faithful sidekick, Lawrence.
Once again the design for enemies is brilliant. The universe is a huge place and Insomniac have once again taken that into account, with many different and great looking enemies on each planet and moon you visit.
A new feature to this Ratchet & Clank is that you can travel at will through the different sectors of space. You can then land on moons and try to find gold bolts, weapon upgrades or zoni. You can also revisit planets, to kill enemeies to upgrade weapins or find bolts or zoni missed.
The great clock, with clank discovering the purpose he was built for, is a good segment of the game, with different puzzles to solve along the way. However some puzzles can be a bit frustrating if you make a mistake, because you then really have to start from the beginning again to make sure its correct.
Overall Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time is an excellent game with plenty to offer, and certainly worth buying.
Good Points: Brilliant gameplay, superb weapons, great weapon upgrades, stunning locations, nice and unique enemy designs, Amazing characters and voice-acting, good story telling perspective.
Bad Points: Story can sometimes become confusing, clanks puzzles can become frustrating when mistakes are made.
