Colourful and artistic from start to finish Ratchet and Clank delivers high end visuals that set the scene perfectly for this enjoyable cartoon adventure. The level environments are well presented and the character design is both diverse and creative.
Sound
The dialogue is a lot of fun, cheesy at times but it goes with the territory. The voice acting sets the scene perfectly and the in game score is upbeat and generates a perfect harmony for Ratchet and Clank on their adventure.
Playability
The concept of the game is easy to pick, the controls are simple and the level design is varied and challenging. There are a lot of enemies to batter with your hammer or pick off with your range of special powers. There is a wide range of weaponary and armour that can be customised too for the trigger happy gamers out there.
Lastability
The main campaign is surprising long and will last up to ten hours of solid game play.
Overall
Ratchet and Clank:ToD is a hit Playstation 3 exclusive and for platform game fans out there this title is well worth your time. The characters work well in their environment and it's just a fun game to pick up play. If you liked Crash Bandicoot, then I'm sure you'll like this.
