a very good ratchet and clank game that any fan of the series will enjoy.

User Rating: 8.5 | Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PSP
the ratchet and clank series has been going for a few years now with 5 games in total. all starring the inseparable duo ratchet and a small intelligent robot called clank. in this game both characters have done many heroic deeds and now feel that they deserve some time to relax on a holiday resort. but soon enough they are interrupted by a weird little girl who claims to be a fan wants ratchet to do some 'heroic stuff ' for her school project. but soon enough she is captured and the duo are thrown int another comical and wacky adventure. the controls are simple and easy to use and those who have played the previous games will master the controle in a matter of seconds. x is to jump, circle is to fire, triangle is to select your weapon and the shoulder buttons are to move the camera. it is sometimes annoying though that you must use the analouge to move and the d-pad to strafe. when you start playing you will notice that the lock on feature found in the previous games is missing and it is difficult to stay on one target but soon enough you can buy an upgrade to fix this.

the graphics ane amazing. they are just as good as the ps2 version apart from some rougher edges. the sounds are good and the enimes are all inkeeping with the comical look found in all the other games.

the weapons are great with all the basic wepons found in the previous games. a machine gun called the lacerator. a shotgun like thing called the concussion gun and a bomb glove called ther acid bomb glove. also with the return of favourites such as the agents of doom. you may believe that the developers have missed the most important gun of all. the story is short but funny and when you have completed it you are given the choice to play the game again in challenge mode where you will unlock the famous gun found in all of the previous games. the RYNO. the problem is the size of the game though. I dd not know that the boss I was facing was the last until I had beat him and I was disappointed. I cannot even tell you what the online play is like as like many other when I tried to create a profile the game kept on saying 'account not found' but if you manage to get to playing online the chances are it will feel tacked on like the previous games but dont worry as the single player experience is what ratchet and clack is all about anyway. It is overall a great game that will not take long to complete but will deliver a fun and humorous experience. a must buy for all fans of the series.
