Is this the Ratchet game you've been waiting for?

This is the first portable entry for Ratchet and Clank. It's a solid entry, but there's still lots of improvement to be done. The only thing thing that REALLY compares against the other games in the series is the replay value. The story is good but it lasts for a little while. There is action, but only in the last few levels, where you have the best guns and the upgraded ones. The armor system is also cool, and it adds to the replay value a whole lot. The graphics are pretty good for a handheld system, but they're really good and comparable to Daxter in the last few levels, becasue again, that's where all the action is squeezed in. The game play's decently for the most part, but there are lots of camera and combat issues. The camera can sometimes be downright frustating. There are a lot of Clank arenas and that adds to the variety. The Giant Clank missions are downright amazing. Millions of things such as plane debris and rockets fly toward at you, and nothing slows down. It's that impressive. The game's sound effects are good, but the music is horrible in every level except Clank's head and the last level. Now the replay value is the only thing in the game that scores a 10 out of 10. I would score it a 100000000/10 if I could. There a million things to do and collect: titanium bolts, regular Bolts, cheats, skins, skill points, armor, get all weapons and the RYNO, upgrade every weapon, play alll of the clank arenas, beat challenge mode, and more. That makes the value higher than it is. Overall, if you're a huge fan of the series, you might wanna try this out, or if you're waitng for the real RAC to come out on the PS3, you should try this to make the wait a tad bit qwothy.
