Once again Insomniac Games has proved that their game making abilities uphold the same standard as in previous years. The first Ratchet and Clank began a new legacy of platform games and introduced a whole range of fascinating weapons and gadgets that extended the value of gameplay beyond imagination. Ratchet and Clank are back once more for a rampaging adventure through the galaxy. This time round, Ratchet and Clank must survive a whole new range of lethal enemies ranging from savage midgets to spaceships. Be prepared for another entertaining story that contends with the stories from the previous games. Although not being R&C3's most divine quality, the story provides an interesting aspect for the game. Ratchet and Clank can purchase a wide range of weapons from 'vendors' located around the maps. Like all Ratchet and Clank games, there are many, and I mean many, weapons. They are one of the key features in gameplay and are far more superior and advances than in any other platformer. A new feature has been added to the already action-packed game; a two-player mode. Now that players have satisfied their needs in the single player game, they can play with their friends. The two player mode features many different game goals such as Capture the Flag and Siege. Not only this, but two players can enter a vehicle; one driving, the other shooting. The two-player system adds a sense of replayability to the game. Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal is a brilliant game. Not only is it superior to it's predecessors, it holds many new features never before seen in platform games. If you're looking for a superb platform game, than this is a must-buy.
