I love this game.
I'm keeping my eye out for Insomniac, they are really, really good.
Basically Ratchet & Clank is back for more 3rd-person shooting mayhem and platforming against the evil Dr. Nefarious, an evil robot who is quite possibly the most hilarious villain I've ever seen.
There are a lot of weapons in Ratchet & Clank, something the series has been known for. Some of it's pretty absurd, like the Quack-O-Ray, which turns your enemies into ducks, pretty sick. It's a really satisfying experience and having such a large arsenal never gets tired. You can level up your weapons from repeated use for 5 times each. At the 5th level, some of them may turn into a different weapon with similar attacking patterns.
Wow, this game looks pretty great, with next to no load times and is pretty colorful. It stays at a great 60 frames per second and it only slows down when you manage to cause explosions or bolts in large numbers to fly around on-screen. Everything's really smooth and the auto-save feature makes it so that you don't ever have to bother saving your progress. And that's really quite unnecessary really. Animations are great and smooth and the characters emote extremely well.
The soundtrack is highly impressive too. I love the tunes, they have this spacey feel, and I suppose that's how this game is set. Voice-acting is simply superb and the script is laugh-out-loud hilarious, simply hilarious, I love it to death.
Conclusion: I recommend this game to anybody, you're bound to enjoy it, even if a bit.
