Solid Platforming Action. Great Variety of weapons, and funny storyline.

The third installment of the Ratchet and Clank Series lives up to its series. Ratchet, a lombax, and Clank, a malfunctioned killing robot continue on saving the galaxy a THIRD time. Although it might seem at sometimes similar to Going Commando, but the new features erase those thoughts. The surprising number of weapons at his disposal give a wide diversity in fighting styles. Some weapons are just junk. The new weapon upgrade system is great, and adds depth to your weapon training. Although most weapons you encounter, you cannot buy until you progress further unless, you like training and training until you have enough bolts to buy it. This may seem unfair at times and the costly weapons in the game might discourage you, but you'll probably ignore those thoughts since the weaponry you currently have is suitable enough. The storyline is as always great and hilarious. The graphics are stunning, and use the PS2 hardware well. A new edition, multiplayer, was added, and this is what the game needed the most. I don't play online, although I can tell you it is probably better than split screen. Split screen is also great, but they cut off part of the acutual screen for base health bars.....That was just unneccessary. In all the game was a great game and a must buy.
