"Ratchet and Clank" is a superb platformer on the playstation 2 and has spawned 3 sequels.
In Ratchet and Clank you play as Ratchet,a furry little dog like creature with a kick ass attitude.
Clank is the side character who after escaping from a robot prison for reasons unknown,crash lands right in front of Ratchet as he is fixing his spaceship.
Clank from then on attache's to Ratchets back and together plan to get revenge on a evil dictator who is threatening the galaxy of destruction.
The games graphics are sheer brilliant and with a fairly decent frame rate.
The sounds are classic with enormous blast's from Ratchets guns.
The gameplay is that of a platformer in which you jump,shoot, fly and jump some more but it is done brilliantly in R+C which definitely makes a must buy for any playstation 2 owner even though they might prefer something a bit more mature.
