Ratchet and Clank is an amazing Action Adventure 3d platformer. For the ps2, their isnt that many gd platformers. This game is truly amazing. You are Ratchet, a cat alien mechanic thing and you find Clank a robot escapee and you two become a team of ultimate greatness to bring justice to the galaxy. You run around, destroying robots, with guns, flamethrowers, shotguns, super fists, electric gloves and bomb launchers and you can use your wrench to smash up robots. You run, jump, smash crates and collect money or bolts. With bolts you can purchase new weapons and other things. You cna collect Gold Bolts that are hard to find. With gold bolts you can buy ultimate weapons. Explore over 15 different worlds such as lava canyons, forests, factories, ice prisons, swers, tropical islands and other planets in the galaxy. all very good. use cool gadgets to get past levels.

Good points:

Outstanding action adventure, great combat, huge assortment of weapons from flamethrowers to machine guns, gadgets from metal detectors to lock hackers. Tons of different worlds and level layouts. Neat puzzles are a great addition, longer than your standard platformer, eye candy graphics, amazing soundtrack, innovative boss fights, quality is outstanding, reason to play through levels again when game has been beaten, great voice acting in cutscenes, cheaper price because it's been out for some time.

Bad points:

umm... i don't know. sometimes it can get quite difficult. having to go back and forth from worlds for specific items is kinda strange but understandable.

Most satisfying moment:

Controlling Super Ultimate Giant Robot Clank and destroying giant robots in the robot arena with your missile launchers and you can smash them with your fists.

Bottom Line: you must have this game. MUST. this is an absolute MUST.
GET IT! It's better than jak.
