As a fan of the series i have to say that this isnt as good as the rest! However, it is still a very good game. Buy it!
As a fan of the Ratchet and Clank series, i thought that Ratchet:Gladiator would have more to offer than this.
It offers very short gameplay ( i got it at Two oclock this aftertoon and finished it before it was 8 oclock) , and it is very easy.
Saying that howebver you can select your difficulty level, and as i selected it to the second easiest available ( there are four available) that is probably the reason why it took me so little time to complete it.
This game, like the others in the series doent stop after just one round though. Once you havent completed it you can either go back through it in challenge mode, warp back in time to before you defeated Vox, or you can delete the file and try it at a harder diffculty.
On the plus side, this game iffers cool new sc-fi type guns and gadgets. Other fans of the series will be disapointed that clank doesnt play along with you ( but you still talk to him from time to tim ein your living suite at the DreadZone Station), you get cool bots that follow and can pack a mean punch! You can get upgrades for them from Al who is also at your livining suite on DreadZone Station, and although they can be destroyed, you can respawn them as many times as you need! The bots can also hack. And you know those bolt cracks that we had in Ratchet and Clank 1? They can opertate them aswell! So if your lazy like me you can sit back and kick some robot ass while they crank as some stupid bolt poking out of the ground.
Overall this game does disapoint a bit, but i still think it is a great game, and i would recommend it to anyone that likes platform gaming. This is the king series of all platfomers.
There is also a vbery funny little cutscene at the end including Dr Nefarrious and Lawence floating by on that asteroid of theres! I am now eagerly awaiting the Ratchet and Clank 5 for the PS3. Cant wait....
