Great but not best in the series.
User Rating: 8.4 | Ratchet: Deadlocked PS2
Ratchet: Deadlocked packs quite a punch this time around, but still INSOMNIAC has lost its technique from the first Ratchet and Clank game. As the series progress the game seems to make Ratchet a little more sensitive instead of that greasy lombax from the first serious of the game. Ratchet: Deadlocked is pretty much lets you run around with a game and blow things up, instead of strategizing like it did in the first game. The game also doesn't include many characters and is VERY short, compare to the other series. The worlds or levels are now with rich details but it is boring since it is really just straight forward. Furthermore, the game is really based on arena battles, it is just like those stadium battles you would find in the 2nd and 3rd Ratchet and Clank games. But on the bright side, INSOMNIAC also includes a great new line of weapons to choose from and the new weapon upgrade system that lets you customize your weapons the way you want. The game also features two great side-kick robots to help you throughout your journey. They are very easy to control and they can be revived once destroyed.
In conclusion, Ratchet: Deadlocked is one great game. But, in my opinion the story line should be a lot long and the game should be more strategic instead of straight forward.
Happy Gaming!
