Another great addition, with Some good things, and also some shortcomings as well.
THE GOOD
This game added a whole new way of doing weapons, and in my opinion they finally did it perfectly! I know from experience that it was nice to have the large cache of weapons, but most of them went unused or not even purchased. The way this was fixed is instead of all the crazy amounts of weapons you could add some crazy effects to your weapons almost like an rpg style system, eventually you could get your weapons all the way to level 99. There were still a good amount of weapons but instead of making one weapon for every single type of option was available ( I.E. lava effects, freeze effects) they made it to add that to all ready existing weapons, which was a very nice touch. As always there are plenty of good missions, and even more side missions this time. The multiplayer was expanded some as well giving you new options for the type of game and more. As always, the story line also gives you more to add to the long saga of this little wombat, which is always fun.
THE BAD
The game didn't seem to have as good of a flow as the previous installments of this series. For instance, too much stoping and going, stoping and going. The game was also well shorter than any of the other Ratchet and clank games. Which was the biggest disappointment. Although you can always play beyond when you have beaten the game, but it just doesn't feel quite right. In total you should get 10 to 12 hours of gameplay even if you do pretty much every side mission.
OVER-ALL
Still a good game and the new weapons system is definitely worth taking a look at. If you have ever liked ratchet and clank, then you'll definitely not be disappointed here!
