not the longest ratchet game, but stil not that much replay value
ratchet gladiator has a pretty good story it picks of after ratchet and clank 3
ratchet on the star ship the phoenix and a bunch of robots show up and kidnapp ratchet and clank. and then you go to this huge place called dredzone you start at headquarters when theres like this ship (whitch you use to go to planet to planet ) and then there another smaller ship in the headquarters whitch you use to go to the battle arena. and complete surtin objectives then you go to the other ship and go to a planet. complete surtin objectives then go to headquarters go to the battle arena complete a couple of objectives then go to another planet sounds fun huh.
also in headquarters you have al's work shop(just used for upgrading you bots will explain bot later) and also clank's mission advisor office. in ratchet gladiator you cant play as clank so instead you have two bots which hover next you. and shoot enimes and you can commarnd them to do various objectives like turn bolt cranks ect. ratchet also has a full body armor whichs makes him look like a robot. in the game you have ten wepons that it ten wepons i think that the prevous games had someing like 30 wepons. the platforming is nerly almost most gone its now nerly a third person shooter you almost never use your rench allways usually use a gun. the graphics in ratchet gladiator are very good looking they look better then the other games, the cinematic photofogy is very good very sharp and looks realy nice, it has a rock solid frame rate. the game insent very long i passed it in about 4-6 hours(which is quite short for a ratchet and clank game0 theres also not a lot of reaplay value on you've got the bolts multiplier whitch let you get the stronger wepons in the challenge mode when you pass the game i finished it in about 1-1/2 hours maybe 2 hours.
in summary; ratchet gladiator has a good story, good gameplay, fair amount of bosses, lots of action, but some times feels like a third person shooter, good graphics, good looking cinematics cutscens, but some of the comedy is gone, solid frame fate, but a little bit ti millenar.
if you're a fan of the ratchet and clank series you should get this one, if and newcomer dont get this one get ratchet and clank 3, if you've got all the ratchet and clank games then get this one you'll find it has a lot to offer.
