I was dissapaointed that it isn't the excellent platformer we have been waiting for for years, but it is good anyway.

User Rating: 8 | Rayman Raving Rabbids PS2
Rayman Raving Rabbids was originally planned as a platformer and a follow up to the excellent Rayman 3.I thought this would be even better than Rayman 3.But I was crushed when I heard it was to be another collection of minigames instead.
Ignoring that, though,Raving Rabbids has a funny feel to it.The basic plotline is that Rayman and his baby Globox friends are suddenly captured by a bunch of brainless bunnies called the Rabbids and taken to their island prison.Rayman is locked up and forced to compete in trials both for the Rabbid's entertainment and to stay alive.
The minigames are varied in many ways.Rayman serves 15 days of trials, and every day you must complete four minigames and a boss minigame. The minigames involve humiliating very unlucky Rabbids such as a game where you have to launch a Rabbid off a minecart as far as you can,a game where you have to hit different coloured stereos to make the Rabbids of its colour dance so you can kill them.
In story mode after completing all the minigames on each day you are sent back to your cell for the night.Inside your cell you get a jukebox to listen to unlocked songs on,a toilet to replay previous minigames on,and a wardrobe to change costumes.
In the end you probably wont care that this isnt a platfrormer-youll still love it.
