I can not say enough good things about this game. Red Dead Redemption takes gameplay to the next level and sets an extremely high precedent for games to come. The overall gameplay is almost identical to Grand Theft Auto IV, with missions being initiated by traveling to certain icons. One of the things that stands out the most are the random events that happen in the wilderness. With a set of a good 15 to 20 events that are randomly cycled through, each venture into the wild will be 100% different than anything else. The minigames such as Texas Hold'Em, Blackjack, and Liar's Dice are extremely fun to play and are a good way to earn a bit of extra money in game. The story is phenomenal. It's truly a Hollywood blockbuster caliber storyline that keeps you focused on the game and creates a need to keep playing. The multiplayer is solid and plenty of fun with a group of your friends. Red Dead Redemption is definitely worth picking up. It makes a fantastic addition to any game collection.
