This is much more than just an expectation for a Red Dead Revolver sequel. It is one of the best achievements in gaming.

There is so much I can say about this great open-world western game. This is an achievement for the Western genre and certainly the best game in that genre. I did not have that big of expectations. I certainly am not a fan of Red Dead Revolver (The first Red Dead game). I was just interested from the hype of the game. This is the first game I gave into because of hype.

The horse handling is much better than I thought. Although horses are not the only way to transporting, you can also use a carriage, train, and also the infamous donkey (that we kill much more than ride). Trains are fully enter-able and with the ability of robbing every person on the train.

There is an entire open world. The bottom half of the map is cut off until later in the game. The game's map is really huge. You really do get sucked into the game through the vivid imagery and the nice western soundtrack.

The story is just as epic as the gameplay. RDR begins in 1911 reaching the end of the Wild West era. It follows John Marston who is up against his former gang members.

There is also a multiplayer mode which consist of mainly Free Roam. Free Roam lets you roam the world with other players and set up a posse. There is also gang matching and so on, but due to a recent add-on there is four-player online co-op (not splitscreen) for eight new missions. These missions are fun to do especially due to the company you can have fun with.

I definitely recommend this game to anyone. This passed up the term 'Rent' by a long shot.
