Red Dead Redemption is a masterpiece of a game and its a overall superb game.
The overall gameplay is very great and the combat/gun play is great as well. Gunning down outlaws and other human enemies is a whole lot of fun. This is one of the most fun games that I have ever played. The graphics in this game are great overall. The game play graphics are very great, while the cut scene graphics are good. The women's faces in the cut scenes however are not good, as some of the women look kind of weird and ugly.
The sound effects are great, the voice acting is superb, and the music is awesome. The music suits this western game. Overall the sound design is great.
The controlls are awkward at first, as it is with most games, especially the horse riding controlls, but you quickly get used to them. Over all the controlls are excellent.
Replay value with this game is endless and very great.. As after you finish this game you can replay all your favourite missions and you can continue to free roam and do side quests as Jack.
The story is a great one, as it is a character driven one. You meet a lot of cool and witty characters along the way through the 57 story missions. I love the story. It had a surprising and great ending and leaves an opening for a sequel. A possible revenge quest sequel!
The presentation is superb and the enemies are outstanding. There is a good variety to the enemies in this brilliant game. This game has a real run and gun style of play and its a blast.
The story missions and the side quests are really cool and a lot of fun to play through. The story missions are repetitive however, but they are still very great over all. A lot of the story missions are rescue, protect, and escort missions. More variety to the story missions would have been much better and I would have rated this game 9.5, instead of 9 out of 10. The side quests have a lot of variety though and they are amazing. I love being a hero in this game. There are a ton of collectables in this game and they are great to collect. Hunting animals and then selling them to shop owners is a lot fo fun. My favourite job in this game is the night watchmen job. Its very cool and fun.
