Great game that is more than GTA set in the wild west.

Red Dead is easily one of the best games of the year and of all time for the PS3. It is hard to describe the gaming experience that is represented by Red Dead but it is much more than a GTA clone. For starters it feels extremely fresh and new to be in a setting such as the wild west. But then when you throw in the open world and the options available to the player and it becomes very easy to become immersed in such a world. Then to top it all off is a decent story and spot on controls and you have the makings of a classic. Only flaws deal with some minor glitches you may come across but they by no means detract from the gaming experience and are seldom in occurrence. My biggest complaint though comes in the form of the difficulty which feels about right at times and at others a little easy. But with the addictive game play and decent story to boot this is only a minor annoyance that many will just glance over.
