The good, The bad, The glitchy.
This was a long waited game for many people but how true was this game to its delivery? Red Dead Redemption is solid. As good as it gets. Great story line, a lot of action, and many unlockable perks and things to do during single player and multiplayer, but just playing the single player storyline is rather short. The challenges alone takes a while and adds alot of game time (especially if you're not using anything to guide you through the game). Over all the graphics are outstanding. You can tell when you have entered the border region of Mexico and New Austin. Amazing diversity of animals to hunt, amazing ecosystem in game. The game itself jumps at you and presents itself to you in a astonishing way. Overall the graphics is a solid 10 out of 10. Game play is 9 out of 10, no such thing as a perfect game which brings me into the glitches. The game has its glitches as any other game, but these are very noticeable but infrequent. You could hog tie a bounty, but you're not able to pick him up if you hog tied him near a rocky terrain, is one of the many things you might notice. Sound quality of the game is 10/10. Loud booms and bangs is all I can say if you got yourself a decent TV with a sound system. Addictive multiplayer options is another plus in this game. With its new addon of "Outlaws to the end" it has added new challenges and features for a few hours which is worth the download if you're bored of running around free roam and picking on people. This addon is a co-op addon to the game. You need to work together to get through these missions which can be hard if you don't and just run in and start shooting like a maniac. Team play is a must and sticking together is just as critical. If you haven't experienced this game yet or rented it, don't miss out on it. I recommend any player that is into the open world genre to play this game. Don't bother playing this game if you don't like change in game era or don't like retro. If you're a solid FPS gamer and nothing more I recommend you to move on. If you want change, experience something new, or want to play retro instead of modern, I highly recommend this game.
