Great storyline, awesome multyplayer, free co-op on marketplace, but it feels like the same old GTA format.

Graphics: The graphics look very good. Feels like a tiny bit more could have been done here, but I am not complaining. As far as detail goes, the envirorment has some of the best vegetation I have seen aside from Far Cry. Buildings, objects, and peoples all have nice looks to them, and the towns are actually modeled after old black and white photos.

And I hate to compare this game to other works of Rockstar, but sorry, it is the same developement company and two or so years from when GTA 4 came out.... They simply failed to nail the level of detail that they achieved in GTA 4, or San Andreas for that matter. Granted there was alot more to work with in those titles, but I never get the same feeling of being amazed by walking down a random, beautifully detailed GTA 4 alleyway, as I feel I should in this game.

Controls: As far as controls, they are nicely laid out but a bit hard to get good at. If you have played any GTA game with or without auto aim on, you will feel at home.

Gameplay: Alot of variety for things to do in singleplayer. Wether its shooting people, riding horses, hunting, doing missions, gambling, arm wrestling, saving hookers from rapists, or doing bounty missions, there is fun to be had. But this is where my issue in the title come sinto play, it just feels like a Western rehash of GTA 4. I have been a fan of Rockstar since the beginning, and this is the first Rockstar game I have not been UTTERLY blown away by.

Also there is the same problem as in every other Rockstar game, money means almost nothing. Besides clearing bounties, buying weapons, buying an occasional house or item, and having a couple shots just to fall over and get instantly sober again.... there is nothing to do. And hoenstly, I have the right to complain about this, there always has been a void with GTA, and the way you spend money. I can have more fun spending fictional roleplay money in second life, then I can gambling in Red Dead. Which is sad. But it shouldnt fall onto the player to fill that void.

Multyplayer gameplay: Basicly now instead of a lobby, you get free roam. Which actually is an improvement over being restricted to free roam lobbying with just friends or recent players, like in the past. In the lobby you and players can go around shooting up the town, fighting other gangs, earning bounties, ect... which earns you xp, which gets you levels, which gets you items and outfits.

Here, once again, they fall a bit short. Why can't me and my buddies gamble? Why can't we get lassos so we can get drunk, gamble, and then someone draws a pistol? Its Rockstar for christs sake. No dueling either.

Outside of lobby there is team death match, death match, grab the money bag, and hardcore varities so you no longer have to listen to children yelling for people to kick the host, so they can put auto aim on. Now everyone is where they want to be, and on level ground.

Sound: Its Rockstar, what do you expect? Good sound from various voice actors, with not too many stupid character catch phrases.

I loved the game, and would recomend my friends to go purchase this title. Dollar per dollar I would rather be spending my money on this then any COD arena deathmatch bullcrap. But it simply doesn't give me that feeling of GTA 4, San Andreas, Vice City, and barley that of GTA 3. Blow my f***in mind away Rockstar. Theres a reason I have yours, Bethasda's, and Paradox Interactive's logo stickers on my door and car, because you guys are unholy video game demons who sold their souls to provide a worthy product to your consumer. Whatever your cooking up for next time, make it good enough that me and my friends wait in line for release midnight, then call off work so we continue playing for 48 hours like we did with GTA 4.
