Red Dead Redemption makes you feel like you are the best Cowboy in the Wild West! *Spoiler Free*
The graphics in RDR excel the graphics in GTA IV. It doesn't have better graphics then a game like Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2, but the graphics make you feel like the people are real. The characters in Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 look amazing, but you know they're fake. In RDR, the people feel like they exist in the world around you.
I expected RDR to have fun gameplay and an OK story. I found out later that the story is one of the best things that make the game great. I bet most people got a GTA game for the pedestrian killing and stealing cars. In RDR you can do that, ( killing saloon girls and stealing horses ) but you have a choice of being good or bad, like InFamous and Fallout 3.
RDR also has multiplayer. The most played in multiplayer is the Free Roam. Most people just go around and kill each other or attack certain parts of the maps called gang hideouts. You get XP for attacking gang hideouts, killing pedestrians, killing fellow onlineplayers, or doing online challenges. I prefer playing some single player first before playing online. Just to learn the concepts in the game.
I hope whoever reads this gets the understanding of the game and the little broad concepts behind it.
