boring game with a messed up protagonist

User Rating: 7.5 | Red Dead Redemption PS3
Gameplay- Now there is a lot to do in this game. You can cut your fingers off, kill people for no reason, run up your bounty, get drunk, all that good stuff. When it comes to gameplay game is solid. Not amazing, solid. I did not think it was fun for me to do all those mini game stuff. It was boring from the beggining and the only reason I wanted to do that stuff was for money. Ehh...I mean I don't know what to say I just didn't enjoy it too much. I felt bored doing the things they told me to do. It was like, I dont feel like shooting a bunch of bad guys because I'm not interested in a story. A reason too shoot those bad guys? I cant really explain it but considering how everyone loves this game, I think you should ignore this part of my advice. 7/10

Story- This part is weak. Boring story. Simple, a cowboy is trying to kill someone so that he will get his family back. That's it. Not many interesting plot twists or interesting characters. The big thing with the story is the choice to be good or evil. I chose to be evil. But when the story was happening my character was doing a lot of "good" things. It made it seem all weird and unbalanced. Like I just went and killed a bunch of people for no reason in a town and now I'm helping save someone's farm? I'm wanted for 1,000 dollars and I'm working with the sheriff and he's suddenly oblivious to the fact that I am the biggest criminal out there? That type of stuff messed it up for me. Mexico was kind of interesting but eh...didnt like it. 4/10

Presentation-Now this part is a hundred percent hit! From the amazing scenery, graphics, and just plain animations. It's amazing to see yourself going and then camp out for a story someone is telling by the campfire. Or riding in the dark when a pack of wolves or worse...bear attacks you. Or when your riding and there is a execution going on and you get a choice to do what you want. Great animation. It makes you feel like your in a wild west america in 1920. This part of the game was a complete success. 10/10.

So yea thats the review. I know I am late but I got GTA 4 after this game, and I'm loving that much more.
