A true, and epic Western that must be placed in the pantheon of gaming.

Before I state my opinion about this game, I just wanted to say that I've seen some reviews about people hating how RDR has won almost every category that Gamespot put up. I understand that those people, who either haven't played the game or simply don't like its style will obviously feel that way. As a player of red dead revolver back in the good old days, I was anxious to play this one, and it really was worth the wait. Red Dead Redemption is one of those games that we can remember with an amazing storyline and doesn't follow the sort of repetition that I experienced in GTA 4 with the missions. Rockstar really have outdone themselves and the game is an enjoyable experience. From the story to the gameplay, this game had me really engaged in all aspects and rarely do games have you hooked on the character in such a way. Red Dead Redemption is one of those games that go side by side with MGS series GOW series, and the Uncharted series. The evolution of the characters and the story throughout really helps you immerse into the western world at the time. Another good thing about this game is that its length is just right ( although I really wanted more), and by far the ending kept me thinking about the game. Overall, I'm not overrating the game, rather I am saying that it is a must have in your games library, and it is an absolute blast to play.
