Red Dead Redemption is about a man named John Marston who is hunting down his former gang members to free his wife and son. Overall, this games story is great with superb voice acting and animations. The gameplay is very smooth with the dead eye aiming system which slows down time so you can pull off amazing shots. In addition, the targeting mechanics are some of the best in third person shooters. In this game there is also so much to do. You can go hunting for various types of animals like bear, elk, buffalo,etc. You can then skin these animals for money to buy items like more guns and treasure maps. You can also play western mini games like poker, blackjack, horseshoes, and five finger fillet. This game also has spectacular visuals. The multiplayer in this game is also very good. You and up to 7 other people can make a posse and pretty much do whatever you want in free roam. The regular game modes like deathmatch are also very fun. Overall, this is probably one of the best open world games to date. If you have not bought this yet, get it.
