The Good, the Bad, the Ugly Videogame!

When I heard Red Dead Redemption was being created, my dream of becoming Clint Eastwood was finally about to come true. Fortunately RDR does live up to my expectations. The gameplay is solid and heavily refined from its GTAIV counterpart and the graphics are pretty.

One thing I have really been enjoying in these TakeTwo games are the political messages thrown about showing the real corruption of our own government. We have the federal government overstepping its bounds, police working with criminals to catch other criminals and lots of backstabbery just like real life.

My only complaint with this game is that the gameplay isn't that drastically different from GTAIV and it's starting to wear thin. I would like to see a complete overhaul of the gameplay for a new GTA-style game. It would also be kind of interesting if there were multiple paths to go down rather than a linear one that has pretty much been presented to us since the original Grand Theft Auto for PSX.
