This game unrightfully flew under the radar. It's right up there with the revolutionary games.

One of my childhood faves. Red Dead Revolver is a spaghetti western-ish game that features about 5 playable characters in story mode, all very different and all helping Red (the main character) for there own reason. Some levels will be amazingly frustrating, but the pay-off is amazing. There are so many good things about this game I'm glad rockstar published it. The duels, the "Red Eye" I believe it's called which allows you to target specific parts of the body and fire at will. No need to worrie about them shooting back, as it's in slow-mo.

The duels are extremely cool and I believe only in Red-Dead Revolver. Buy this game. That's really what it somes up to. The story is like this. Red Harlow is a small buy who receives his first pistol from his Gold Mining father. His father hit the jackpot, and received one of two pistols. The farm was raided. His father was killed. Red is now off to kill the perpitraitors of this and get back the best gun in the game. (Availible only on second and up playthroughs) The game is as fun as it is replayable, I've beaten it more then 7 times at LEAST.

It's really long, with varying difficulties, but you'll enjoy it nonetheless. The reward system is very cool, and is shown at every chapter end. You can purchase new characters and weapons, but be careful! Don't take care of your weapons and they'll become useless to you, they'll be very weak and expensive to fix. What I recommend is restoring them after every chapter. That isn't a pain, and weapon upgrading is very cool.

I give Red Dead Revolver a 9.6 (9.5) out of ten, and a recommended buy.
