in red dead revolver you play as a young man called red. when red was a teenager bandits burnt his house down and killed his family. after this cutscene you (as a teenager) then practice using a gun down by the river. for the rest of the game you play as red when he is a man apart from the special levels that you play as other characters. one of its best and uniqe features for its time was its "showdown" function. in showdowns against boss's and other various characters you have a side veiw of reds holstar and his hand hovering above. you chose the appropriote time to grab your gun, then every thing goes slow-mo and you can place targets on your enemy with the gun cursor in the small amount of time then it starts to become normal speed again and red then shoots in all the places that you set the targets. if you have placed targets in good places such as head or chest the opposing challenger dies... but if you place them in bad places you will shoot there but the opposing challanger will only be wounded and will then begin shooting at you... if this happens to you, your dead -.-
the game is based on killing outlaws and bandits for cash rewards. you can purchase items but im not promising you anything special. there are many bosses in red dead revolver but are not that amusing. the funnesst things in this games are probably riding bulls horse's and playing othe characters. the game is'nt that realistic but is still a but of fun. i dont recommend buying this but defeintly worth rentin.
